Brief of your experience *

In terms of work experience, I have several years of experience in =
translation. I am currently a translation reviewer at the British Library w=
here I quality check and review translations of correspondences between the=
UK and the Gulf region. I also translate and review context pieces written=
by Gulf history experts at the British Library. I have worked for Manche=
ster City, Liverpool and Chelsea. I translated all their stadium tours and =
reviewed Arabic translations of documentaries. I also work currently as a f=
reelancer with Goethe Institute-Cairo. I translate articles on various topi=
cs from English to Arabic. I also proofread and review articles written in =
Arabic. I do translation work on an ad-hoc basis with various bodies like H=
uman Rights Group International, DA languages etc=E2=80=A6 I have worked p=
reviously as an Operations Co-ordinator with Learndirect. I used to transla=
te teaching materials, courses, and website pages targeting the MENA region=
. I also used to respond to customer queries, manage social media pages, an=
d take care of the web content and make sure it is up to scratch. I worked =
as a translator and interpreter at Castle Craig Hospital in, Scotland. I us=
ed to interpret for patients coming from the Middle East and maintained a g=
ood relationship with therapists as well as patients; I have also worked wi=
th the British Army. I used to teach Arabic language and provide interpreti=
ng and translation services for soldiers and officers. I am good at Micros=
oft word, Excel and Outlook as I use them frequently in my day to day tasks=
. I attended several Microsoft office courses at the BL and that added a lo=
t to my IT skills and knowledge. I am a good team player and highly value t=
eam work. I believe that the environment within the team should always be f=
riendly and co-operative, as this is vital for the success of the whole pro=
ject. During my current and previous jobs I was always supportive of my col=
leagues and was always ready to help and step in whenever needed. My relati=
onship with my colleagues, managers and supervisors was always fantastic. I=
believe that I am suitable for the job for the following reasons: -I got =
academic qualifications that are relevant and essential for this role -I ha=
ve a very good knowledge of English and Arabic, as I learnt both languages =
since my childhood. -I have strong writing and communication skills and am=
always up to date with the latest terminology and language used in modern =
language and literature. -I have good research skills gained from my academ=
ic study and work. -I can work unassisted and take pride on delivering tar=
gets before deadline. .
